Our performing arts students enjoyed the opportunity to experience the world鈥檚 greatest platform for creative freedom, Edinburgh Fringe Festival.
During their visit, the group went to see S茅ance, Lucky Pigeons, The Improv Musical and Trainspotting. The shows explored a variety of genres and styles, exposing the group of keen performers to a diverse range of theatrical experiences.
Level 3 Year 2 student, Roman Wetheridge, said:
鈥淪ensational day from start to finish. Trainspotting was an emotional roller-coaster and has given me an incredible insight into different types of performances.鈥�
Level 3 Year 2 student, Sophie Simpson, commented:
鈥淲hat an amazing experience! Such a complete variety of shows and talent.鈥�
Programme Leader, Faye Cunningham, said:
鈥淲e have had a fantastic day. The students loved having the opportunity to see some experimental theatre and they have developed an understanding of how the Fringe operates.鈥�
